Stage 1 ZD30 GU Patrol
The ZD30 (3 litre) before and after figures with only the DP Chip fitted. This vehicle used in this run, was an automatic, and second gear was used, as the vehicle kept on kicking down.

Stage 1 GU TD42T Patrol
We have worked long and hard working out the best basic settings on the TD42T configuration. Power and Torque figures may differ between early and late vehicles as later model Patrols produce more power in standard trim.

Stage 2 GU TD42T
This is our most common upgrade. We fit a full 3" mandrel bent exhaust system including dump pipe, reset boost pressure, injection pump timing and fuel delivery levels to Diesel-Tec specs. This makes the vehicle a much better, easier vehicle to drive, with great low down torque for towing, better fuel economy and no excessive exhaust note or drumming.

Stage 3 GU 4.2 TD42T.
The owner wanted more power than usual upgrades, having tried our Stage 2 setup. So we matched a Garret ball bearing turbo to suit his needs, made the necessary pipe work to make it all fit and retuned to suit the extra air flow. This now uses less boost than the original turbo, has lower exhaust gas temperatures, better fuel economy as driven the same as before, but provides better low down performance than original with more mid to top end power and torque. Power and torque curves are flatter as the turbo is much more efficient in design.

Stage 1 80 series 1HDFT
Vehicles settings set to Diesel -Tec specs, without compromising egt's or vehicle emmissions.

Stage 1 100 series 1HDFTE
Factory turbo before and after figures with DP Chip fitted. Overall power has increased slightly, but mid range power and torque have increased up to 25%.

Stage 1 Navara 3L

Stage 2 Navara 3L
As per stage 1 but also a full 2 3/4 " mandrel bent system. DP Chip readjusted to suit better breathing capabilities of exhaust system. Notice the greatly improved low down torque and power.
